Paul Buchanan - Copilot

Paul Buchanan was born July, 25 1919. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Alex Buchanan, steward and matron of the Cedar County home. He had two brothers and three sisters.

He entered the service June 20, 1941 as one of nine young men from Tipton, Cedar county.

On June 21, 1943 he was married to June Hartley (1921-1999). They had their home near Mechanicsville. They had no children.

Paul Buchanan was buried in a private cemetery in Iowa.

On the monument his name is written as James Buchanan, but his name was Robert Paul Buchanan.
