Photos of the wafer box

The church bells in Östad were ringing for the souls of the victims. As a thank for this, a box for sacramental wafers was donated to the church in Östad.

The text on the box (in Swedish): Six American soldiers Tinnett Bullock, Robert Buchanan, Donald Johnston, Thomas Campbell, Kenneth North and Oakley Ragland crashed in the year of war 1944 the 20th of October with a bomb plane at Östad. Comrades commemorated their memory with this gift to Östad church year 1945.
